Ashtachoornam is a classical Ayurvedic formulation used as a digestive stimulant, gastric relief (carminative), appetite stimulant, anti inflammatory, anti-oxidant and hepato protective. As the name suggests, it is a combination of eight herbs as detailed in the classical text Ashtangahridaya.

Key Ingredients :

Sunti (Zingiber officinale)
Maricha (Piper nigrum)
Pippali (Piper longum)
Ajamoda (Trachyspermum ammi)
Saindhava (Rock salt)
Jiraka (Cuminum cyminum)
Krishnajiraka (Carum carvi)
Hingu (Ferula asafoetida)

Indications :

Agnideepana, Vathagulmahara

Usage :

10 g with hot water or ghee twice daily after food, or as directed by the Physician.
